Our scholarship program connects selected Indian youth to apprenticeship opportunities in Germany. We equip scholars with language training, cultural support, and mentorship, while forging partnerships with employers to secure apprenticeship roles that lead to long-term, full-time employment.

Anam Vadgama
Founder and CEO
Anam, the founder of Setuwelt, is an Indian national based in Germany. She is proficient in both Hindi and German. and draws on her experiences in the corporate and nonprofit sectors to lead the organisation. As consultant at Eraneos, she advised automotive clients on technology and digitalisation solutions. Previously, she led charity evaluation and partnerships at The Life You Can Save.
Anam holds a BA in political science from Princeton University, USA.
Nis is the volunteer head of employer success at Setuwelt and a German national. He co-founded The Incredible Company GmbH, an eCommerce company specialising in distribution and fulfilment across Europe. Prior to this, Nis worked as sales manager at Oerlikon.
Nis holds an MSc in industrial engineering and business management from Nordakademie, Germany.
